How Does Radiesse® Work?

Radiesse® is a volumising treatment based on calcium hydroxyapatite, a substance naturally found in the body. As a result, it carries a very low risk of rejection or allergic reaction and is both biocompatible and fully absorbable.

Radiesse® injections are used for two main indications: filling wrinkles and restoring volume. It reshapes the oval of the face. It is a perfectly effective filler for deep wrinkles, the corner of the mouth, bitterness folds, facial depressions and for reshaping the oval of the face. Radiesse® also stimulates natural collagen production, helping to firm and tighten skin by stimulating the natural process of cell regeneration. Hence the name “collagen inducer”.
