HydraFacial®

The HydraFacial® treatment is painless. It is a non-invasive, gentle treatment. Some people may feel a slight tingling sensation or pressure during the treatment, but this depends on each individual’s sensitivity. Most patients describe the treatment as pleasant and relaxing.

HydraFacial® is suitable for all skin types, including dark, oily, dry, sensitive, mature and blemished skin. It treats a wide range of skin problems and has very few contraindications.

• HydraFacial® Signature: the classic treatment painlessly removes and eliminates impurities and blackheads, while simultaneously administering moisturising solutions containing antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid. The treatment also concludes with LED light therapy to reduce the visible signs of ageing and soothe the skin.
• HydraFacial® DeLuxe: more personalised than the Signature treatment, the Deluxe treatment includes an additional step in which a booster, a highly concentrated serum, is applied to the skin. The booster is selected according to your skin type and desired results, such as anti-ageing, soothing sensitive or reactive skin, enhancing radiance, improving hydration or targeting dark spots.
• HydraFacial® Platinum: begins with lymphatic drainage to purify the skin, reduce inflammation and stimulate epidermal revitalisation. The treatment continues with the Signature treatment phases, designed to exfoliate, remove impurities and intensely moisturise the skin.
• HydraFacial® Ultime: In addition to facial skin, HydraFacial® Ultime also treats the neck and chest area, offering a unique experience and incomparable radiance thanks to exclusive serums.

HydraFacial® treatments can be carried out all year round. The recommended frequency depends on your individual needs and goals. Some people may benefit from a treatment every four weeks, for example to help manage acne, while others may only require three or four sessions per year. It is important to discuss your skincare goals with your practitioner to determine the most suitable treatment plan.

Applications of various serums or boosters are also an integral part of the HydraFacial® universe. This step infuses the skin with nourishing and revitalising ingredients to improve its appearance and health.

The serums or boosters used in the HydraFacial® treatment may include ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, peptides, and other key skin nutrients. They penetrate the skin using the same gentle suction nozzle used to extract blackheads and comedones.

Specific hyaluronic acid-based serums for the eye contour area or to beautify the lips are also available, in the form of a pen that you can take away after your session for application at home. Don’t hesitate to ask for more information at your appointment.

The treatment can be complemented by facial lymphatic drainage to stimulate lymph circulation. This drainage helps deflate bags under the eyes, eliminates toxins and improves the overall appearance of the skin.

A HydraFacial® is performed in 4 steps:

Cleansing: HydraFacial® begins by gently exfoliating the epidermis to remove dead skin cells and sebum.
Very light peel: a peel with a specific blend of salicylic and glycolic acids then helps remove impurities and dirt from deep within the pores. This helps prevent acne from reappearing.
Extraction: painless vacuum suction removes impurities from pores (blackheads and blackheads).
Hydration: an infusion of serums repairs the skin’s surface with anti-oxidants based on powerful peptides and hyaluronic acid. This helps detoxify, rejuvenate and restore healthy skin structure. HydraFacial® offers customised serums to address specific skin problems.

An LED lamp is also applied at the end of the session to reduce redness and soothe the skin. A sunscreen will also be applied to protect the skin from UV rays.

Areas covered by beard will not benefit directly from the effects of HydraFacial®, as the hair can prevent complete contact of tools and products with the skin. If you want these areas to benefit from the treatment too, it’s best to shave at least 24 hours beforehand. This will avoid any skin irritation.

Yes, the HydraFacial® treatment can be performed on areas other than the face. The following areas are commonly treated:

• Neck and chest: to moisturise, smooth and even out skin that is often neglected.
• Back: ideal for treating imperfections (acne, blackheads), smoothing skin and providing deep cleansing.
• Scalp: with the Keravive™ protocol, which promotes scalp health and hair growth.

Each area requires its own approach and tips, so the professional adjusts the protocol according to the area being treated.
