Located in the heart of the Forêt de Soignes, in the exceptional grounds of the Dolce La Hulpe hotel, the Claris Clinic La Hulpe is ideally situated on the outskirts of Brussels. The clinic’s contemporary design is based on three approaches.
The technology
Our two operating theatres have been designed to the most stringent standards, and have obtained ISO5 classification in accordance with the criteria of the Conseil Supérieur de Santé (Ministry of Health). The surgical and anaesthetic equipment is state-of-the-art.
Wellness
The interior design is geared to patient comfort, from the waiting room, through the consultation areas, to the bedrooms and recovery room. The green, relaxing setting also offers added comfort.

Plastic surgeons
- Dr Michaël HEPP
Dr Michaël Hepp is a graduate of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
He trained at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, under Prof. Benoît Lengelé, a reference center for breast surgery, microsurgery, pediatric surgery and the management of vascular malformations. During his training, he quickly turned his attention to cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Hepp spent a year in Paris, in the department of Prof. Jean-Paul Meningaud and Prof. Barbara Hersant, where he trained more specifically in facial aesthetic surgery, as well as female breast and intimate surgery. He also developed a protocol for the management of complications associated with injectables, and acquired particular expertise in this field.
He enriched his clinical experience in Munich, Germany, in an international environment renowned for its high standards. The author of several scientific publications, including fundamental research articles, Dr. Hepp places rigor and ethics at the heart of his practice.
Her approach is always to achieve harmonious, elegant results, while respecting the individual features and characteristics of each person.
He currently works at the Claris Clinic.
- Dr Claudia MISZEWSKA
Dr Miszewska Claudia graduated in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery (RBSPS).
She works at Clinique Notre Dame de Grâce (CNDG) in Gosselies, Mazi Médical Center and Claris Clinic. She has a particular interest in breast surgery and body contouring.
- Dr Giuseppe DILUISO
Dr Giuseppe Diluiso graduated with honors in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery from the University of Siena. He enriched his training with several international experiences, including a fellowship in microsurgery at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, where he honed his mastery of surgical planning and technical precision. He also developed expertise in aesthetic breast reconstruction at ULB, enabling him to adopt a global, personalized approach to breast surgery.
The author of over 15 scientific publications in international journals and an active member of several editorial boards, Dr. Diluiso divides his time between the CHU Saint-Pierre in Brussels, the CHIREC hospital in Braine-l’Alleud – Waterloo, and the Claris Clinic.
His areas of expertise include aesthetic surgery of the breast and face, body contouring and innovative energy-based treatments.
- Dr Filippo DI MEGLIO
Dr. Filippo Di Meglio holds a degree in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery from Rome’s Sapienza University.
He continued his training with a fellowship in advanced microsurgery at the China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan, a high-level experience that enables him to tackle complex cases at the interface between reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
He is currently Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the CHU Saint-Pierre in Brussels, where he performs specialized hospital work while training surgeons and students at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
At Claris Clinic, Dr Di Meglio focuses his practice on aesthetic surgery of the face, chest and figure, with a rigorous, personalized approach.
- Dr Anouk DE GELDER
Dr Anouk de Gelder is a qualified plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, and a member of the prestigious Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum and the Société Royale Belge de Chirurgie Plastique.
She was trained at UZ Gent, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ph. Blondeel Dr. de Gelder is an internationally recognized reference center for breast surgery, microsurgery and gender confirmation surgery. Dr. de Gelder pays particular attention to facial aesthetic surgery, breast surgery and female intimate surgery, with specific expertise in labioplasty and gender reassignment surgery.
Committed to a scientific and ethical approach, she is the author of an acclaimed publication in the international journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS), devoted to the cultural aspects of vaginoplasty.
She currently works at the Claris Clinic and the Clinique Sint-Elisabeth in Zottegem.
- Dr Michel HEYMANS
Dr Michel Heymans is a renowned plastic surgeon, graduated from the Université Catholique de Louvain in 1994 and member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery. He also holds a degree in microsurgery.
Dr Heymans is Head of Plastic Surgery at Clinique Saint-Pierre Ottignies. He is also a member of the Faculty Board of GC Aesthetics, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of breast implants. He regularly gives seminars on certain plastic surgery techniques in various European countries.
- Dr Jacques DUCHATEAU
Doctor Jacques Duchateau is a renowned plastic surgeon, graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1985 and member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery.
Docteur Duchateau has been active in three Brussels hospitals, as head of the plastic surgery department at the Centre Hospitalier Etterbeek-Ixelles since 1995, consultant at the Hôpital Universitaire Erasme since 1990, and practitioner at the Clinique Edith Cavell (now CHIREC Delta) since 1999. He performs the full range of plastic surgery procedures, with a particular focus on breast augmentation and facial rejuvenation.
- Dr Fanny BALLIEUX
Doctor Fanny Ballieux graduated from the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum and the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS) in 2017.
She is also a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery. She also completed an additional year’s fellowship at the Breast Academy on Australia’s Gold Coast. This experience enabled her to specialize in aesthetic breast surgery and facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Ballieux practiced in Australia for two years, during which time she worked at Westmead Childrens Hospital in Sydney and Pacific Private Hospital on the Gold Coast. Her patients appreciate her ethics and the natural appearance of her surgical services.
Dr Ballieux currently works at the Claris Clinic and the Clinique des Champs Élysées in Lille and Paris.
- Dr Roxana MATASA
Dr. Roxana Matasa is a plastic surgeon who graduated from the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS) in 2011 and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery. She also holds an inter-university diploma in microsurgery.
Dr. Matasa currently works in private practice at the Clinique de la Basilique, part of the CHIREC group, and as Head of Clinic at the Brugmann University Hospital, where he plays an active role in training plastic surgery assistants from ULB and abroad.
Dr Matasa practices plastic and aesthetic surgery, with a particular focus on breast, facial and body contour surgery.
- Dr Thierry FOUREZ
Dr Thierry Fourez is a renowned plastic surgeon, who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1995 and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He also holds a diploma in microchirugy.
Doctor Fourez has been practicing at the Centre Hospitalier Etterbeek-Ixelles since 1996, and at the Clinique Edith Cavell (now CHIREC Delta) since 2006. He also previously worked in two other private clinics providing cosmetic surgery.
His fields of expertise are eyelid and breast surgery.
- Dr Aurore LAFOSSE
Dr. Aurore Lafosse is a plastic surgeon who graduated from the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum in 2012 and is a member of the Société Royale Belge de Chirurgie Plastique. She worked for three years at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, where she was in charge of reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
At the same time, she has been conducting research with FNRS support into regenerative medicine and cell therapy for skin regeneration.
Dr Lafosse currently works at the Claris Clinic and Clinique Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi in Brussels.

Dr Clève is a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery.

- Dr Jean-Valéry BERTHE
Dr. Jean-Valéry Berthe is a plastic surgeon, member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery, graduate of the Collegium Chirugicum Plasticum (C.C.P.) and of the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS) since 2001. He is currently a consultant at Clinique Claris, Clinique Edith Cavell (now CHIREC Delta) and Hôpital Universitaire Erasme (Cliniques Universitaires de Bruxelles, ULB). His main areas of practice are aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and figure, as well as breast reconstructive surgery.
Until 2014, Dr Berthe was Assistant Head of Clinic at Erasme University Hospital, where he developed his skills in reconstructive surgery, including microsurgery, and aesthetics. Until then, he was a member of the ULB Plastic Surgery D.E.S. teaching staff.
- Dr Christine WALRAVENS
Dr. Christine Walravens is a plastic surgeon who graduated from the Université Catholique de Louvain in 2007 and is a member of the Société Royale Belge de Chirurgie Plastique. She trained internationally, notably in Luxembourg and Paris, where she obtained a diploma in microsurgery from the Ecole du Fer à Moulin.
Dr Walravens has extensive experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a particular focus on breast, facial and body contour surgery. She pays particular attention to patient needs, and to achieving natural-looking results.
Dr Walravens currently works at the Claris Clinic and Clinique Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi in Brussels.
Anaesthetists
- Dr Serge BROKA
Dr. Serge Broka is a specialist in anesthesia and intensive care, graduating from the Université Catholique de Louvain in 1994.
He practiced and taught anesthesiology in a university setting(Cliniques UCL de Mont-Godinne) for 9 years, before turning to the development of out-of-hospital anesthesia.
Today, Dr Broka is a member of the European Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care’s working group on out-of-hospital anesthesia activities.
- Dr Elisabeth YANKO
Doctor Elisabeth Yanko obtained her medical degree from UCL in 1995 and has been an anesthesiologist-resuscitator at the same institution since 2001.
After working as an anesthesia assistant at the Université Catholique de Louvain, she has been assistant clinical head of anesthesia at the Etterbeek-Ixelles hospital since 2005.
- Dr Eléonore POWIS
Dr. Eléonore Powis trained in anesthesia at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc from 2011 to 2017.
Since then, she has divided her time between hospital anesthesia, chronic pain management and outpatient anesthesia.
She is also trained in the practice of hypnosis, both in an operative context and for chronic pain management.
- Dr Bernard VANDERICK
Dr Bernard Vanderick is a qualified anesthetist. He trained at the Cliniques Universitaires St-Luc de Bruxelles (UCL) and has been practicing at the Clinique Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi in Brussels since 2000.
Dr. Vanderick has been practicing outpatient anesthesia (OBA) since 2009, with an emphasis on quality standards. Algology (pain management) is also an important part of his medical practice.
- Dr Stéphane DENEU
Doctor Stéphane Deneu is a specialist in anesthesia and intensive care from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), from which he graduated in 2000. He trained at the Onze Lieve Vrouw hospital in Aalst and the Armand Trousseau hospital in Paris.
Doctor Deneu has been practicing at the Braîne-l’Alleud Waterloo hospital (Chirec group) since 2006.
- Dr Pierre HOFFREUMON
Doctor Pierre Hoffreumon is a specialist in anesthesiology. He trained at Cliniques Universitaires St-Luc de Bruxelles (UCL) andHôpital Cantonal Universitaire de Genève (Switzerland).
Doctor Hoffreumon has joined the anesthesiology department of Clinique St-Pierre Ottignies, where he has been practicing since 1991. He is a member of the Société Belge d’Anesthésie-Réanimation and, since 1993, has taken part in seminars organized by the Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology. Doctor Hoffreumon teaches anesthesiology to baccalaureate nurses at the Haute Ecole ISEI – Parnasse in Louvain-La-Neuve.

A graduate in medicine, specializing in anaesthesia-intensive care and emergency medicine from the University of Liège, Doctor Moradi also holds a DIU in analgesic hypnosis (University of Liège), a Master’s degree in aesthetic medicine from Queen Mary University of London, as well as a DIU in baldness and a DIU in aesthetic laser treatment from the University of Lyon.
Dr Moradi is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
He carries out his aesthetic and hair treatment activities at the Claris Clinic (La Hulpe), the Clinique du Mont-Saint-Martin (Liège) and the Botaclinic (Liège).
He is particularly interested in regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy for hair regrowth and skin rejuvenation.
- Dr Candice DEWULF – Aesthetic Medicine
Doctor Dewulf Candice graduated in medicine from UCL in 2013, and passed the internal medicine competitive examination. She practiced in various hospitals before opening her own general practice in Woluwe St Pierre. She is a CERDEN-certified nutritherapy specialist. She has a diploma in aesthetic medicine from the Collège International de Médecine Esthétique in Paris.
Since then, as a member of the Société Belge de Médecine Esthétique, it is in this latter discipline that she thrives, for her own pleasure as well as that of her patients.
- Dr Emmanuelle STEELS – Dermatology
Graduating in medicine from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2000, she obtained her diploma in Dermatology and Venereology from the same university with the highest distinction in 2005. During her residency at Hôpital Erasme, she obtained the French inter-university diploma in Lasers, Aesthetic Dermatology and Cosmetology in Besançon in 2009, and the university diploma in cutaneous oncology in Montpellier in 2010.
Until 2020, as Assistant Head of Clinic at Brugmann University Hospital, she was in charge of specialized cosmetology and aesthetics consultations.
Dr Steels is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Dermatology, and specializes in chronic inflammatory diseases, oncology and aesthetics. At present, she also works as a university hospitalist at the Brugmann University Hospital and with the CHIREC group at the Delta Hospital.

- Larissa REUL
Larissa Reul is in charge of sales and administrative management at Clinique Claris. Quadrilingual, she has held similar positions in the fashion, wellness and cosmetics sectors, both in Belgium and abroad. She is responsible for the entire non-medical side of the clinic, from administrative management to patient contacts and relations with suppliers. She is also in charge of the clinic’s communications.

Operating theatre nurse
Cécile is an operating room nurse. With a wealth of experience in a number of renowned hospitals, she is in charge of welcoming and monitoring patients, as well as all aspects of the operating day.
- Stéphanie DEGAUQUE
Logistics Manager
Stéphanie is in charge of material supplies for the operating room, as well as medical inventory management. She is also responsible for the preparation of surgical programs, and acts as administrative support when necessary.
- Feirouz AGHMOU
Feirouz is a trained beautician. She has always had a passion for skin care and skin appearance in general. At Claris Clinic, she is in charge of HydraFacial treatments, laser hair removal and other classic aesthetic treatments.
- Victoire GUIBERT
Victoire trained as a nurse. After working for several years in a university hospital, she decided to redirect her career and devote herself to aesthetics. At Claris Clinic, she is responsible for post-operative care, aesthetic treatments and certain medical-aesthetic treatments, which she carries out in collaboration with dermatologists and aesthetic physicians.
- Oriane DE BREUCKER
Nurse specialist
Oriane De Breucker trained as an emergency nurse. She worked for several years in various emergency departments, including the Clinique Ste-Elisabeth in Brussels and the Braine l’Alleud Hospital. Oriane has been operating room manager at Claris Clinic since 2014 and is also responsible for Claris Clinic’s plastic surgery information consultations.
- Taher MORADI
Consultant in Aesthetic Medicine, Mr Taher Moradi specializes in cutting-edge hair loss treatment techniques (PRP, PRP with stem cells and grafting), as well as in aesthetic medicine treatments. Mr Moradi works in several centers, including the Claris Clinic (La Hulpe and Liège) and the Mont Saint-Martin Clinic (Liège).
