Doctor Michel Heymans is a recognised plastic surgeon who graduated from the Université Catholique de Louvain in 1994 and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery. He also holds a degree in microsurgery.
Doctor Heymans is head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the Clinique Saint-Pierre Ottignies. He is also a member of the Faculty Board of GC Aesthetics; one of the world’s leading manufacturers of breast implants. He regularly gives seminars on certain plastic surgery techniques in various European countries.
Doctor Jacques Duchateau is a recognised plastic surgeon who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1985 and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery.
Doctor Duchateau is active in three Brussels hospitals, as head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the Etterbeek-Ixelles Hospital Centre since 1995, as consultant at the Erasmus University Hospital since 1990, and as a practitioner at the Edith Cavell Clinic since 1999. He practices all plastic surgery procedures, with a predilection for breast augmentation and facial rejuvenation.
Doctor Thierry Fourez is a recognised plastic surgeon who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1995 and is a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery. He also holds a degree in microsurgery.
Doctor Fourez has been working at the Etterbeek-Ixelles Hospital Centre for 19 years, and for 9 years at the Edith Cavell Clinic. He also previously worked as an aesthetic surgeon in two private clinics.
He has a predilection for eyelid and breast surgery.
Doctor Fanny Ballieux is a graduate of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum and of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) since 2017.
She is also a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery. She also completed an additional year of fellowship at the Breast Academy on the Gold Coast in Australia. This experience allowed her to specialise in aesthetic breast surgery and facial rejuvenation.
Doctor Bailleux spent two years in Australia during which she worked at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney and at the Pacific Private Hospital on the Gold Coast. Her patients appreciate her for her ethics and natural-looking surgical results.
Doctor Bailleux is currently working at the Claris Clinic and the Clinique des Champs-Élysées in Lille and Paris.
Doctor Roxana Matasa is a plastic surgeon and a graduate of the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS) since 2011. She is also a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery, and she holds an interuniversity diploma in microsurgery.
Currently, Doctor Matasa upholds a private practice as part of the CHIREC group at the Basilique Clinic, alongside a university hospital practice at the CHU Brugman, where she is the Head of Clinic. At the CHU she actively partakes in training plastic surgery assistants from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), or for students from abroad.
Doctor Matasa practices plastic and aesthetic surgery with a predilection for the breasts, the face and the silhouette.
Doctor Sophia Djaoudi graduated in Plastic Surgery from the Catholic University of Louvain in 2015 and a diploma in microsurgery from the University of Nancy. She is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery.
Her international training in Luxembourg, Strasbourg and Brussels gives her a range of surgical techniques, both aesthetic and reconstructive. Her sense of trust and attentive listening to her patients is the cornerstone of her practice.
Doctor Sophia Djaoudi also works within the Cliniques de l’Europe in Brussels, at Saint-Michel.
Doctor Aurore Lafosse is a plastic surgeon and a graduate of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum since 2012. She is also a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery. She practised for three years at the Saint-Luc University Hospital, where she was in particular in charge of reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
At the same time, she conducted research with the support of the National Fund for Scientific Research (FNRS) in the field of regenerative medicine and cellular therapy for skin regeneration.
Doctor Lafosse currently performs her surgical activity at the Claris Clinic and the Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi Clinic in Brussels.
Doctor Jean-Valéry Berthe is a plastic surgeon, member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery and a graduate of the Collegium Chirugicum Plasticum (CCP) and of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) since 2001. He is currently a consultant at the Claris Clinic, the Edith Cavell Clinic (CHIREC, Brussels) and the Erasmus University Hospital (Cliniques Universitaires de Bruxelles, ULB). His main areas of activity are aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and silhouette, as well as reconstructive breast surgery.
Until 2014, Doctor Berthe was practising as Deputy Head of Clinic at the Erasmus University Hospital, where he developed his skills in reconstructive, aesthetic and microsurgery. He is also a member of the teaching staff at the Plastic Surgery D.E.S. at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
Doctor Axel de Vooght is a plastic surgeon and graduate of the Université Catholique de Louvain since 2003. He undertook his postgraduate training at the Saint-Luc University Hospital in Brussels, as well as at the Inselspital in Bern (Switzerland). He then obtained his European Recognition Diploma (EBOPRAS – 2004). He completed his curriculum with a fellowship in facial and craniofacial surgery with Dr Daniel Marchac in Paris.
Doctor de Vooght is a member of the Belgian Royal Society for Plastic Surgery, the French Society of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SOF.CPRE), the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
His main areas of interest are facial aesthetic surgery (including rhinoplasties, facelifts and eyelid surgery) and senological surgery (breast augmentation, breast reduction and breast lifts). Doctor de Vooght speaks fluent French, (mother tongue), English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch.
Doctor Cantella is working within the CHIREC Group in Brussels.
As a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, he was recognised by the Belgian Ministry of Public Health in 2006.
Trained in medicine at the UCL, he continued his specialisation in surgery at the ULB. During his training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, he worked in the best centres and with the best French and Belgian hand and maxillofacial surgeons. He is a graduate in microsurgery and emergency medicine. With his extensive experience in reconstructive surgery, he early developed his activity in private practice.
Doctor Serge Broka is a specialist doctor in anaesthesia-intensive care and a graduate of the Université Catholique de Louvain since 1994.
He has practised and taught anaesthesiology in a university setting (UCL Clinics of Mont-Godinne) for 9 years, before orienting his career towards the development of anaesthesia in a non-hospital setting.
Doctor Broka now works as part of the office-based centre of the European Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care dedicated to non-hospital anaesthesia activities.
Doctor Bernard Vanderick graduated in anaesthesia-intensive care. He received his university training at the Saint-Luc University Hospital in Brussels (UCL) and has been practicing at the Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi Clinic since 2000.
Doctor Vanderick practises anaesthesia in office-based surgery (OBA) since 2009, focusing on compliance with quality standards. In addition, algology (pain treatment) also represents an important part of his medical activity.
Doctor Elisabeth Yanko received her medical degree from the UCL in 1995 and is an anaesthetist-intensive care specialist at the same institution since 2001.
After having been an assistant in anaesthesia at the Université Catholique de Louvain, she is Deputy Head of the Anaesthesia Clinic at the Etterbeek-Ixelles Hospital Centre since 2005.
Dr Éléonore Powis was trained in anaesthesia at the St Luc University Clinics from 2011 to 2017. Since then she works in between anaesthesia work in hospital, treating chronic pain and anaesthesia beyond the hospital realm.
She is equally trained in the practice of hypnosis for chronic pain and in an operative context.
Doctor Pierre Hoffreumon is a specialist doctor in anaesthesiology. He received his university training at the Saint-Luc University Hospital in Brussels (UCL) and at the Cantonal University Hospital in Geneva (Switzerland).
Doctor Hoffreumon joined the anaesthesiology department at the Clinique Saint-Pierre in Ottignies, where he has been practicing since 1991. He is a member of the Belgian Society for Anaesthesia and Resuscitation and has taken part in the seminars of the Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology since 1993. Doctor Hoffreumon teaches anaesthesiology to bachelor students in nursing at the Haute Ecole ISEI – Parnasse in Louvain-La-Neuve.
Doctor Stéphane Deneu is a specialist in anaesthesia-intensive care and a graduate of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) since 2000. He undertook a university training at the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Hospital in Aalst and in the Armand Trousseau Hospital in Paris.
Doctor Deneu is now practicing at the Braine-l’Alleud Waterloo Hospital (CHIREC group) since 2006.
Doctor Olivier Gardenal graduated in anaesthesia-intensive care. He undertook his medical training in the Toulouse University Hospital (France) and validated his medical specialty in the Nancy University Hospital (France), where he then practised as Clinical Head (lecturer-researcher) from 2004 to 2006.
After having practised anaesthesia-intensive care in a humanitarian (MSF) and military setting (French army, UN), he has been working since 2009 at the Sainte-Anne Saint-Remi Clinic in Brussels, where he is also in charge of the Surgical Day Hospital.
Doctor Anne Vanhecke is an intensive care anaesthetist, who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2002.
Dr Vanhecke practiced anaesthesia in the Nivelles Hospital for 15 years before becoming interested in pain management, acupuncture and Nutritherapy.
She has been practicing anesthesia in non-hospital environments since 2018, in order to combine her different centers of interest more easily.
Professor Bertrand RICHERT is associate professor and titular of the dermatology course at the Faculty of Medicine and Motor Sciences at the ULB.
He is head of the dermatology department of the Brugmann University Hospital, Saint-Pierre University Hospital and Queen Fabiola Children’s University Hospital.
He has published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and is the author of 3 books in English, 3 in French and 26 chapters in reference books. He has made over 150 presentations worldwide.
He was at the origin of the development of the courses and masterclasses of the European Academy of Dermatology, of which he is one of the members representing Belgium.
He actively participates in the lectures on cutaneous cancer surgery and interventional cosmetology within the dermatology training of dermatology assistants at the ULB but also abroad. He regularly welcomes in his department doctors who come to complete their training.
Graduated in medicine from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2000, she also obtained her diploma in Dermatology and Venereology at the same university in 2005, with the highest distinction. During her residency at the Erasme Hospital in 2009, she obtained the French inter-university diploma in Lasers, Aesthetic Dermatology and Cosmetology at Besançon, and at the university of Montpellier in 2010 she was awared a degree in skin cancerology.
Until 2020, she was Deputy Head of Clinic at the Brugmann University Hospital Center and she held specialist consultations in cosmetology and aesthetics.
She is a member of the Royal Belgian Dermatology Society, and her areas of specialization are chronic inflammatory diseases, oncology and aesthetics. She is currently still practicing at the university hospital CHU Brugmann, and within the CHIREC group at the Delta hospital.
Dr Marc Moradi is a medical graduate, specialist in anaesthesia-intensive care and emergency medicine from the University of Liège. He also holds an IUD in analgesic hypnosis (University of Liège), a master’s degree in aesthetic medicine from the Queen Mary University of London, as well as an IUD in baldness treatment and an IUD in aesthetic laser treatment from the University of Lyon.
Doctor Moradi is a member of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery).
He carries out his activities of hair aesthetics and treatments at the Claris Clinic (Brussels) but also at the Mont-Saint-Martin Clinic (Liège) and at the Botaclinic (Liège).
He has a particular interest in regenerative medicine and stem cell treatments for hair regrowth and skin rejuvenation (“stem cell therapy”).
Dr Candice Dewulf graduated in medicine from The Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in 2013, alongside successfully completing the university’s internal medicine competition. She practiced in different hospitals before opening her own general practice in Woluwe St Pierre. She is a nutritherapy specialist, with a CERDEN diploma. She graduated in aesthetic medicine from Paris’s International Center for Aesthetic Medicine. Since then, she has become a member of the Belgian Society of Aesthetic Medicine, and she has chosen to fully devote her career to this discipline.
Larissa Reul is in charge of the administrative and commercial management of the Claris Clinic. Being quadrilingual, she has held similar positions in the fashion, wellness and cosmetics industry, both in Belgium and abroad. She is responsible for the entire non-medical part of the Clinic, ranging from administrative management to patient contacts or relations with suppliers. She also takes care of the Claris Clinic’s communication.
Operating Block Nurse
Cécile is an operating room nurse. With her extensive experience in various renowned hospitals, she takes care of the reception and follow-up of patients, and of the various aspects that ensure a smooth running of the operating day.
Stéphanie is responsible for the supply of material for the operating block and for the management of medical stocks. She is also responsible for the preparation of the surgical programmes and provides administrative support if necessary.
Aurore trained to be an emergency nurse. For many years, she worked in the emergency department at the St Elisabeth Clinic in Brussels. Aurore also has a beautician’s diploma. She coordinates all aesthetic treatmens at the Claris Clinic.
Oriane De Breucker is an emergency nurse by training. She has worked for several years in various emergency departments, in particular in the Saint-Elisabeth Clinic in Brussels and the Braine-l’Alleud Hospital.
Oriane is head of the Claris Clinic’s operating block since 2014. In addition to carrying out various aesthetic treatments and with her experience in the operating room, she is also responsible for the information consultations on plastic surgery at the Claris Clinic.
Nurse – Coordination and staff training
A nurse by training, Julie is in charge of coordinating beauty care, staff training and business development at the Claris Clinic.
She has worked for over 15 years in the field of obesity surgery and cosmetic surgery. She is also specialized in digital marketing and, as such, is part of the communication and marketing department of the Claris Clinic.
Rosalie Hees trained to be an emergency nurse. For many years, she worked in the emergency department at the St Elisabeth Clinic in Brussels. Rosalia is part of the aesthetic care team at the Claris Clinic.
