Wrinkles are small furrows that appear on the skin over the years. They are due to a loss of elasticity, firmness and a lack of hydration of the skin tissue. Over time, the production of collagen and elastin slows down and wrinkles develop in the direction of the fibres and in the natural folds of the skin.
As we get older, the effects of time, sun exposure, stress, lifestyle or smoking can have a visible impact on the face in the form of wrinkles or skin slackening. More or less deep folds may form between the nose and mouth, the oval of the face may sag and change, and folds or fat deposits may also appear in the neck area.
