
Breast asymmetry is usually the result of a developmental disorder in one or both breasts. This often results in an unaesthetic difference in volume.
Breast asymmetry can be corrected in different ways (reduction of the breast that is too large, augmentation of the breast that is too small, …) and will depend on a number of parameters (general volume of the breasts, expectations of the patient, …).
In all cases, a breast asymmetry procedure is a very precise surgery because it has to create a symmetry that is not there at all at the start.
