BodyTite® Radiofrequency / Morpheus: a new non-surgical benchmark in the treatment of sagging skin.
How it works
Subcutaneous medical frequency (BodyTite® / Morpheus 8) is a technology that uses heat induced below the skin through different types of currents: continuous, fractional, and sequential.
This technology does not require any surgery or cause any scarring, and patients can expect a significant aesthetic improvement in their skin quality. The results appear very rapidly, and continue to improve over the course of a few weeks. The BodyTite® / FaceTite® subcutaneous radiofrequency has become a new benchmark in the medical treatment of sagging skin for the areas of the face and body.
Fractional radiofrequency (Morpheus 8®) is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that combines micro needling with radiofrequency energy. This technology uses tiny needles to deliver energy to different layers in the tissues, promoting the production of collagen and elastin for the purpose of firming and reshaping the skin.
Morpheus 8® can, for example, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, smoothen skin texture, treat hyperpigmentation, heal acne scars and help reduce stretch marks.
Depending on the area and the technique used, the patient will have to undergo a local or general anaesthesia.

A thin radiofrequency cannula is inserted under the skin. This will heat the tissues until the desired temperature is reached. Through the use of a control monitor, the doctor can modulate the temperature in the tissues and keep it constant throughout the treatment. This permanent temperature control guarantees maximum safety throughout the treatment.
After choosing an appropriate temperature (50°C, 60°C, or 70°C) for the patient, the skin will shrink, and the fat will melt. The treatment lasts between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the type of application.
The handpiece is fitted with a micro needling tip that is applied to the treated area. The depth of the energy delivered by the radiofrequency can be adapted to reach different depths of the dermal layers depending on the indication. The indication also determines the number of sessions required, the number of areas and the size of the area(s).

Radiofrequency delivers spectacular and natural results, without the use of surgery and without any scarring. The results are visible between 4 to 12 weeks after the procedure, which is when the skin is reconstructed and regenerated. The adaptable treatment method allows for an individualized approach to the procedure, based on the patient’s skin type.
In addition, several treatments can be carried out a few weeks apart, in order to improve the effectiveness. Radiofrequency can also be performed all year round and on any type of skin.
Subcutaneous and fractioned radiofrequency is suitable for patients who are looking to tighten their skin and reduce wrinkles without undergoing multiple sessions, surgery or the recovery time of a surgical procedure.
Subcutaneous radiofrequency is extremely safe and effective. The control monitor for the temperature, and the sensors inside the machine ensure maximum safety as they enable a constant monitoring of the probe entering the dermal tissues and the skin’s outer temperature. Throughout the entire procedure, our specialist will be monitoring the machine’s parameters and results.
Most patients will see an improvement immediately after the first session, but the full results are achieved 2 to 3 months after the treatment, which is the necessary time for the skin to regenerate elastin and collagen fibres.
The procedure is painless as the treated area is under local anaesthesia, although slight discomfort in certain sensitive areas may occur.
The treatment time may vary depending on the treated area and the recovery time is between a few hours to a few days depending on the treated area and the type of anaesthesia used.
